(KITS) Keep In Touch Support
If you are a member at Saint Mark UMC, you are a member of a KITS (Keep In Touch Support) group because the church congregation is organized into neighborhood shepherding groups for the purposes of friendship, fellowship, and support.  These "neighborhood" groups are organized so members can share joys, needs, and concerns; encourage each other to continue to be active, interested, and invloved in St. Mark ministries and activities; and the groups serve as a communication link between families and the staff.  KITS groups periodically gather with their St. Mark neighbors for fellowship such as a social outing or dinner.

Each KITS group has a leader or coordinator to encourage support among members during times of joy, need, or concern.  The following is a list of KITS groups (by geographical location) and their coordinators:

Salem 8 KITS Groups Coordinator:  Mary Search
Northeast of Seneca   5 KITS Groups Coordinator:  Diane Hirt
South & West of Seneca 4 KITS Groups Coordinator:  Polly Harshbarger
Seneca 5 KITS Groups Coordinator:  Ginny Lightfoot
Northwest of Seneca 4 KITS Groups Coordinator:  Linda Lovelace

Do you know what KITS group you belong to?  Do you know who your KITS neighborhood coordinator is?  To answer these and other questions regarding the KITS ministry at St. Mark UMC, please contact Elaine Swanson  (985-0246 or emswanson@bellsouth.net) or the church office (882-2603).
