Saint Mark Caring Ministry
You are invited to become a member of our Saint Mark Caring Ministry. This important ministry meets monthly to discuss the concerns of both Saint Mark members and others in our community who need the love of Christ expressed in real and tangible ways.
Members of this ministry use their talents in a variety of ways:
- Visiting those who are homebound
- Visiting those in nursing homes, hospitals, and retirement homes
- Assisting the pastors in serving Holy Communion to those who are unable to attend church
- Sending notes and cards to congregation members
- Welcoming new babies with a handmade inscribed cross and book, and placing a flower on the altar in his/her honor
- Delivering small bouquets of flowers each Monday morning to those we serve
- Delivering flowers or balloons to hospitalized members
- Delivering large print Upper Room devotion booklets to people we serve
- Providing an annual birthday party for residents of Seneca Residential
- Providing funds for crisis situations in our church and throughout our community
If you would like to serve in this important and meaningful way, please click here to contact Janice Simpson or you can call her at 882-4542
