Confirmation

Confirmation at Saint Mark is a one-year program for 7th grade (and older) youth. Letters to parents of 7th graders go out in the Spring, and the classes are advertised in the Navigator and the Grapevine.  Class members learn about the roots of our faith and the heritage of the United Methodist Church.  They learn the practices and the basic beliefs of the Christian faith.  We have activities in July and August and classes begin the Sunday after Rally Day, toward the end of August. There are retreats, mission opportunities, field trips, and parties, as well as weekly classes on Sundays at 10:15 am.  At the conclusion of the program, they have the opportunity to become professing members of Saint Mark.
