METS
METS is a fellowship group for adults 55 and older. They come together the fourth Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for lunch, fellowship, and an interesting program. On occasion they schedule special day and overnight trips. The "S" in METS stands for service, so this group of active older adults is also involved in doing service projects in the church and community.
We don't have our 2010 events set out yet, but as an example here are some of the things we did in 2009. For our February meeting Los Amigos restaurant in Seneca with a presentation by Brett McLaughlin from the Seneca Daily Journal/Messenger on the running of a home-town newspaper.
